New Coalition Launches to Support Energy Storage Infrastructure in King County
King County, WA — A new coalition – Keep the Lights On! Washington – has launched to support the development of battery energy storage system (BESS) infrastructure in King County, beginning with the Cascadia Ridge Resiliency Energy Storage Project proposed near Snoqualmie.
As Washington’s energy demands grow and the region transitions to clean energy, maintaining a reliable and resilient electric grid has become an increasingly urgent priority. Keep The Lights On! Washington brings together organizations who support developing the infrastructure needed for ensuring communities have access to reliable, affordable power when it's needed most. With the launch of the coalition, www.KeepTheLightsOnWashington.com has been published to organize supporters and serve as a source of accurate information.
